FAQ
How many hives can I have?
We require a minimum of two hives, but you can choose to have up to ten hives per location.
How much honey will I get?
Production varies annually with weather and forage conditions. Our first priority is to ensure the bees have enough honey stored for their own winter survival. All surplus honey from your hives is delivered to you in bulk after harvest, but we cannot guarantee specific quantities.
What if I need to end the contract early?
If the contract is ended mid-year, colonies and equipment remain until the following spring for safe removal.
Is it safe for families and pets?
We take precautions, but bees can sting and are not recommended for those with severe allergies. Please supervise children and pets around beehives.
What if my bees die?
Winter colony loss is a natural part of beekeeping. While our success rate is above the national average, occasional losses still occur. If a colony dies, we will provide a replacement in the spring at no extra cost. Your annual fee covers this—guaranteeing you always have bees.
